Location
The property is located at 12 Njegoseva ulica in Njeguši, a historic mountain village on the plateau at around 900 metres above sea level, on the road between Kotor and Cetinje. This is the birthplace village of the Petrović-Njegoš dynasty and the home of Montenegro's most famous prosciutto and cheese, surrounded by stone houses, pastures and dry-stone walls.
The famous Kotor serpentine road, with its twenty-five hairpin bends and views over the Bay of Kotor, passes just below the village, making the property a natural stop for anyone driving between the coast and the interior. Hiking and cycling routes start directly from the door, including the walk up to the Njegoš Mausoleum on Mount Lovćen.
